Designed by Prewett Bizley Architects, the project was to refurbish and retrofit an existing house and to construct a rear extension on the ground and first floor plus a roof extension. Retrofit work focused on insulating all the external walls with wall insulation and installing an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP). Upon completion the house achieved 2.4 ach in air tightness. This was achieved through general workmanship with no specific target required.
